I feeling like taking an Inch off the world today.
Too walk a little wider.
Too collect my coming dues.

This world is a series of repeated steps.
Earth, Sun and Body.
In this rotation I need more.
Like a giant sun, today my mass is expanding.
Swelling around an empty core.
Feeling the wounds of time.

We are gifted with a slow life.
Filled with every emotion plausible.
Like shades of colour on a grand canvas.
Painting a sunset requires 1000 blends.
No tint should be ignored, to understand the beauty of the favourites.

I am following the full aspects of this test.
The depth and the darkness.
The poignancy and the instant nostalgia.
Wishing for the cycle to end.

Survival cannot be ignored.
Life will be lived.
All is Everything.

The Quiet Moment

The quiet moment,
the love of a child,
the heat of a winters moon,
looming life to be lived to soon.

With a dream,
distilled on vine,
withered worries, soul divide.
Clueless Entry, lost key,
on a wonder the world came back for free.

Chased spirit, thoughts in vapour,
the moment is won,
sat back and a minute of soul is stretched over a month of doom,
like a thermal shield from all the gloom.

Today is a new day.
I will not conquer it, but i wont be defeated,
I will not beat it, but i will search for the rhythm,
It will not be the first day of the rest of my life,
But it will bring a new paving stone to explore on my path.
I cannot rule the world or my life,
but i can rule my expectations and perceptions.
Today i will not “be all i can be”,
because how can i be anything else.

The dark clouds of winter approach
Sure in their seasonal certainty
Requiring sense of self.

The Sun is sleeping longer
Drifting on a well earned dream
The Moon is in the sky like a drunken ferryman
Turning up when sober
Providing safe passage in the night.

The cool bight of winters morning,
Stimulate the blood
Pump it through the veins
Set the brain on its path.

The plants are asleep, the world stills
Cold comes out to play, the sea is lost
Nature moves through and on and on.
I am forced to maintain my quest.

Great spirit I have come here today to be humbled with the gift of life. To recognise the beauty I am constantly surrounded with. To share the joy of life.

I ask you to recognise your patron, your creation, your offspring. I ask you to cast your focus this way for a moment. A breif pause in your quest.

I ask you to remind me of the gifts I’ve been given, of the spirit I carry within, and of the sacrifices I have been honoured to make. I ask to be filled with the passion of now in the moments I seek guidance. I ask to be humbled when my ego requires attention. I ask to remain ever thankful for that which I have.

I ask to find pure beauty in all those around me and that you shine your blessings on their souls when I am wanting.

I ask to be able to one day thank you appropriately. To be able to communicate my love for you and all. To be for you. Alive.

contained in its simple brutishness.

There is this moment when the distractions end.

Where the page is crystal clear

With nothingness.

A brief blank polaroid

Of Life.

We all love in this mess,

We all create ourselves

Basked in sunlight we photosyntheise a person

A being that is naturally inclined to want to care

To dream that beyond the all that we see

There is the ability to connect

To further all for naught.

Then the page burns up

Like a parched drought laden forest

In its threat to totally disappear.

Eventually consumed by crystal clear surf

And washed away.

Leave only your worries,

Take only your memories.
